I want coconut oil for my popcorn, But I need help.?
What I thought I was looking for was an orange wax looking substance which I knew as coconut oil. All I can find is a white coconut oil at middle eastern grocers. Where can I find what I am looking for?
at a store that sells supplies for concession stands. the orange waxy stuff has been flavored and colored. I prefer it for popcorn, too!

I just made homemade popcorn and its not soft, why?
Its hard to bite thru and tastes too much like the coconut oil.........
did I use too much oil?

Rule of thumb if you're popping it in a pot, thin layer of oil, thin layer of kernels. Vegetable oil is better.
